The municipality of Rheden is located between the IJssel River and the Posbank, with a population of approximately 43,000. The municipality’s goal is to ensure livability.

Challenge | There is insufficient power available in a former hotel that serves as a shelter for Ukrainian refugees. To provide them with a proper home, more capacity is needed.

Solution | Deployment of a battery that ensures there is always enough capacity available to create a safe and warm home.

System | A relatively small battery system connected to smart software that monitors and delivers the required energy at the right time.

With this project, we make a positive contribution to an awful situation.
